ABOUT

DREAM STITCH isn’t just about stitching amazing, ethical products; it’s about weaving dignity, skills, and hope into every thread. At the heart of our little workshop in South Asia is a faith-filled community where there’s always singing in the air, Scripture on the walls, and strong tea brewing.

Our Story

Dream Stitch began with one simple goal: to create meaningful work for women in vulnerable situations. What started as a small sewing project has grown into a beautiful rhythm of restoration and creativity.

We craft bags, wallets, and home goods from recycled sari fabric giving new life to what was once discarded. Every piece carries a history, a story of transformation not only in the fabric but in the lives of the women who stitch it.

Handmade with Heart

We use kanthas, the timeless art of hand-stitching layers of sari fabric into new life, a tradition carried through generations of skilled hands.

It begins with the sourcing—saris chosen with care, and precision. Layered, then stitched by hand, thread by thread, row by row, until the fabric becomes whole again.

This process is slow, intimate, and deeply human. Every stitch holds a story—of the woman who wore the sari, the hands that transformed it, the hours spent in quiet devotion—making each piece a one-of-a-kind piece of living art.

Let’s Work Together

We also take on custom manufacturing projects – so if you’d like to partner with us or have something made through our workshop, we’d love to hear from you.

Fighting Modern Slavery

Behind every stitch is a stand – against exploitation, against injustice, and for freedom and dignity.

By creating safe, fair, and faith-affirming work, we offer real alternatives for women vulnerable to trafficking and poverty. At Dream Stitch, work isn’t just about income – it’s about restoration, discipleship, and a renewed sense of worth.

Ethical. Beautiful. Sustainable.

We believe God’s creation is something to be cared for, not consumed. That’s why we use recycled materials like sari fabric and natural, earth-friendly dyes. We aim to steward what we have, cut down on waste, and craft products made to last – not just for fashion, but for purpose.
